Lilly Walters Intake Coordinator, Charitable Liaison, and Fiduciary Legal Assistant
Handles all incoming inquiries and messages from new clients, gathers all relevant information to determine if Heuston Legal and the new client are a right fit for each other, schedules meetings, and facilitates onboarding of new clients. Assists lawyers and clients with fiduciary services and charitable organization matters by drafting and e-filing pleadings and scheduling all court events. Lilly carefully monitors all upcoming legal deadlines and fully informs clients of any updates in their cases.
Jessica Hernandez Florida Certified Paralegal
Assists the lawyers and clients with their estate/trust litigation and probate case matters by drafting and e-filing pleadings and scheduling all court events. She ensures clients are regularly informed about case developments and watches for upcoming legal deadlines.
Kathy Tompkins Florida Certified Paralegal
Focusing primarily on probate and trust administration, Kathy has decades of experience as a Paralegal and is one of the newest part-time additions to the Heuston Legal team. She serves as a knowledgeable mentor to other members of the support staff.
Cheryl Zamojski Florida Certified Paralegal
Assists the lawyers and clients with the probate and trust administration and estate/trust litigation matters with her vast experience as a Paralegal. Cheryl also drafts and e-files pleadings and schedules court events on behalf of attorneys. She ensures clients are regularly informed about case developments and monitors all upcoming deadlines.
Thomas Heuston Finance Manager
With BS degrees in Finance, Accounting and Real Estate from the University of Central Florida, Thomas brings 8 years of Financial Audit and Corporate Compliance experience to Heuston Legal. As Finance Manager, he is responsible for recording financial transactions, managing cash flows, and presenting reports to management for advisory and accountability purposes. Alongside the Finance Director, he is responsible for the overall financial oversight of the firm.
Denise Heuston Finance Director/Financial Analyst/Forensic Accountant
With a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and 13 years experience with a local CPA focusing on fiduciary accounting and tax return preparation, Denise prepares fiduciary accountings and analyzes financial documents to find inconsistencies to bring to the attention of the attorneys. She has a holistic view of the entire firm, runs the proverbial back office, and is responsible for the overall financial oversight of the firm (internal and clients).
Victoria M. Heuston Law Student
Victoria was instrumental in assisting the Managing Attorney in opening Heuston Legal in 2018. From offering her many talents in design to serving the firm as an intake specialist, probate legal assistant, billing and accounts receivable clerk, hiring coordinator, case manager, and operations manager, Victoria was a significant member of the team during the firm’s first four formative years. In the fall of 2021, she enrolled in law school so that her newly acquired love of the law, passion for charities, and the firm’s vision would successfully continue with this next generation of very capable attorneys.
